Grant Acquittals 2012 Explained
In order to be able to apply for a 'Per Capita Grant' in 2012, you have to acquit all the grants which you received in 2011 first through the Community Languages Schools Program.
The acquittal reports are statements of income and expenditure.
Due date is the 31 March 2012.

The grants you received and you have to acquit are:
Second Payment Grant
The 'Second Payment ' of the 2010 'Per Capita Grant' which was paid in February 2011.
This was the increase in funding from $60 to $120 per student in 2010.
The 'Per Capita Grant' you received in 2010 was doubled, therefore the amount you received in February 2011 was the same amount as your 2010 'Per Capita Grant'.
Please fill out a separate 'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' form for this grant.
Resource Renewal Grant
'Resource Renewal Grant' which was paid in February 2011.
This grant was for most schools $2500 and some received $500 and some schools did not apply.
On the application form for this 'Resource Renewal Grant', you stated which item you would like to purchase from this money eg. computers. Write these items and their costs on the form. You do not have to send in receipts.
Please fill out a separate 'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' form for this grant.
Per Capita 2011 Grant
The 2011 'Per Capita Grant', which was paid out in the second half of 2011.
This grant is $120 per student.
Please fill out a separate 'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' form for this grant.
Specific Project Grant
Some schools also received a 'Specific Project Grant' for resource development. The acquittal has to be done on the 'Specific Project Grant Acquittal Report'.
Establishment Grant
Schools which received an 'Establishment Grant', will have to acquit this grant by filling out a 'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' form.
GST
All grants had GST added. This is 10% of the grant. eg. if your grant was $2500, you actually received $2500 (grant) +$250 (GST)= $2750.
You do not have to acquit the GST, just the actual grant.
Forms
'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' less than $50 000 - use this form for the 'Second Payment ' of the 2010 'Per Capita Grant', the 'Resource Renewal Grant' and the 2011 'Per Capita Grant' if any of these grants was less than $50 000.
'Per Capita Grant Acquittal Report' more than or equal to $50 000 - use this form for the 'Second Payment ' of the 2010 'Per Capita Grant' and the 2011 'Per Capita Grant' if any of these grants were more than or equal to $50 000.
'Specific Project Grant Acquittal Report' - use this form only for 'Specific Project Grants'.
